Sponsoring Children Through School
Supporting children in the Ol Kinyei and Selenkay areas for their educational costs goes beyond just paying termly fees. Parents also have to cover the additional expenses for uniforms, books and school activities, despite primary education being free in Kenya. These financial hardships often lead to under-educated youth with limited prospects for successful careers. By covering essential education-related costs, this support ensures that children are able to complete important stages in their education, which is a crucial step in guaranteeing a solid career path.

Adopt An Acre
Directly helping to support wildlife habitat conservation and community livelihoods in Kenya. The Adopt an Acre Plan strives to prevent any collapse of the wildlife conservancies should tourism be disrupted resulting in the absence of income from tourism which pays the land rents and wages for community members working in the conservancies. Instead of local communities having to fall back on alternative income generation and forms of land use which may harm the biodiversity that exists in the wildlife conservancies, Adopt-An-Acre ensures that the local community continues to receive an income from setting aside their land for wildlife to protect the precious wildlife habitat that has been established in the conservancy.

Anti-predation lion lights
Installing anti-predator lights, on community lands neighbouring the conservancies to protect Maasai livestock enclosures from attacks by lions. Flashing lights on the fence surrounding the cattle enclosures deter lions from the nearby conservancy from coming in and killing livestock. This helps to prevent conflict between the Maasai herders and lions which might result in lions being killed in retaliation if they kill cattle.
